Entryway Upgrade

In another attempt to work on the sustainability front, instead of replacing an outdated door, we cut a few holes in the old oneĀ and added some glass. For about the same price as a new replacement, we were able to take a cheap, old door, customize it into something unique, and reduce a lot of waste.

This particular door wasn’t strong enough to support the glass, so some reinforcement blocks were needed to shore it up. The window frame was made from old baseboards and a bit of an old floor.
